The Harrison Labs FMODcable™ series is a specialized line of bi-directional, stereo-integrated crossover cables designed to provide high-fidelity frequency management by filtering signal paths into specific high-pass or low-pass ranges to optimize speaker performance and protect drivers from damage.

These American-made cables feature a unique design where the crossover circuitry is built directly into a flexible RCA patch lead, allowing users to select between two different pre-set frequencies simply by reversing the direction of the cable. Like the standard FMOD line, they utilize a passive, 12dB/octave slope to ensure a noise-free signal without the need for external power.

  • Bi-Directional Operation: The crossover frequency is determined by the direction of installation. The color dot located on the end closest to the amplifier indicates the active cutoff frequency .
  • Slope: Features a fixed 12 dB per octavecrossover slope .
  • High Pass vs. Low Pass: The cable housing is color-coded for quick identification: Redindicates High Pass (blocks lows), while Black indicates Low Pass (blocks highs) .
  • Power Handling: Rated for a maximum input of 10 Volts RMS .
  • Passive Design: Requires no external power, introducing zero noise or "turn-on thumps" to the audio signal .
