Harrison Laboratories (HLabs) FMOD™ line-level attenuators are passive, RCA-inline devices designed to reduce signal levels between audio sources (head units/preamps) and amplifiers, allowing better gain control and lower noise floors. They are engineered and meticulously manufactured in the U.S.A. Sold in matched pairs, these attenuators are essential for managing "gain stagging" issues, allowing users to reduce overly "hot" preamp signals that cause amplifier clipping or sensitive volume controls. They are available in fixed values of 3dB, 6dB, and 12dB, and for maximum system compatibility, and offer 1% accuracy, virtually zero noise/distortion, and handle up to 20 VRMS. They can be ordered with either gold-plated or nickel-plated (often referred to as "buckle" or chrome-style) connectors to ensure low-resistance contact and long-term durability.
