Crossovers & Attenuators
FMODs (Filter MODule) are sold in pairs. The input is the female RCA jack and the output is the male RCA plug. The crossover frequency is fixed and each frequency is color coded. The high pass has a red label and the low pass label is black. The slope is 12db per octave. The input impedance can be 600 to 50K ohms. The output impedance will work with pre-amp or amplifier inputs with impedance range from 10K ohms minimum to 100K ohms. The design frequency is 20K to 50K impedance load. Outside this range there is a slight frequency change. Please refer to the Frequency shift chart.
FMOD Cables have 6 inch male RCA pairs of cable stubs with RCA male plugs at each end. There are 2 crossover frequencies depending on the direction of insertion. For example, the 50/70hz FMOD Cable in one direction is 50hz and the other direction is 70hz.
PFMODs (Parmetric Filter MODule) has selectable frequencies that are selectable by changing computer type jumpers.
XLR, 1/4" Phone, Euro balanced crossovers are available by using our universal adapter module that uses standard FMODs.
